Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Saint-Jerome, Quebec. Design plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 63,125-square-foot, two-story above grade, one-story below grade, 25-room educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Construction of a new building for the replacement of the Sainte-Thérèse-de-l'Enfant-Jésus elementary school. The new school will house 25 classrooms, a library, a kitchen, two gymnasia, a teachers' room, administrative offices, non-teaching staff offices, as well as required rooms for electrical and mechanical equipment. The scope of the project also includes the demolition of the existing building and required landscaping work following the demolition. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in sping 2025. The owner has issued a request for proposals from engineering professional consulting firms for soil and material testing services that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name CSS de la Rivière-du-Nord Schools Construction - Soil and Material Testing. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling construction is not anticipated before early 2026.
