Site work for a civil project in Charles City, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project is generally considered as a wastewater treatment plant serving the Ruthville area of Charles City County. The plant shall consist of a 2" force main leading to a buried 10,000-gallon Flow Equalization Tank, a Fluidyne Integrated Surge Anoxic Mix (ISAM) tank treatment system upon a cast in place concrete pad, an elevated walkway surrounding the treatment tank, and a chlorine contact tank with a chlorination and dechlorination tablet feed system. A 10'x14' prefabricated building shall be provided and house the electrical and control panels as well as the alkalinity chemical feed system. Contractor shall review the construction sequence, found on the contract drawings prior to bid placement as the new plan site is adjacent to the existing plant. The existing plant shall remain in service during construction. The Project has an expected duration of 330 days.
