Reference Number 0000336639 The project involves removal of dredged material (mud, mud/sand mixture, and sand) from Tidewater Confined Disposal Facility (CDF), located off Little Neck Road (State Road S-26-236) in North Myrtle Beach, SC. The stored dredge material is from the recent Cherry Grove Canal Dredging - Cycle 2 (2022-2023) dredging project. The of the work for this Project will be as follows: 1.) removal of approximately 65,000 to 80,000 cubic yards of mud and mud/sand mixture material from the Tidewater CDF and haul to a contractor-provided permanent disposal facility; 2.) removal of approximately 30,000 to 40,000 cubic yards of sand and haul to Windy Hill Beach and used to repair / rebuild sand dunes; 3.) restoration and finish-grading of the CDF; 4.) establish grass on all disturbed areas; 5.) various other miscellaneous maintenance items. All mud and mud/sand mixture material that is designated for removal for this project shall be removed from the site by the Contractor and hauled to an approved offsite . Contractor shall be required to provide, along with his Bid Proposal, the site for final permanent material disposal. The Contractor's final disposal for the material removed shall have all Local, State, and Federal approvals, as required. Contractor shall submit information with his Bid Proposal to demonstrate his prior experience with similar projects and that he possesses the capability and availability of staff and equipment to complete the work within the specified time.
