The City of Belleville is looking to select a qualified firm to repair the roof at City Hall, 6 Main Street, Belleville, MI 48111. The City of Belleville is requesting proposals from qualified companies to provide a replacement for the upper and lower portions of the roof at City Hall. The City has no construction staff. The vendor would coordinate work through a designated City employee. Removal of all loose gravel, dirt, and debris Removal of existing parapet wall flashing/curb flashing Installation of One (1) layer of 1/2" minimum insulation, installed per the manufacturer's specifications. Installation of factory authorized low slope roofing product of any material (EPDM or PVC is preferred). The roof should be mechanically fastened per the manufacturer's specifications. Installation of new flashing on all vertical surfaces, using a factory authorized flashing that is heat welded to the roof shoot at the base and secured at the top edge with an extruded pressure bar using masonry screws/wall anchors. Installation of a new flashing boot on all through-roof penetrations, using a factory authorized roof flashing boot, that is heat welded at the base and sealed and secured at the top of flashing with a stainless-steel band. Separation, cleaning, re-setting, and re-sealing of roof drains into the new roof system. Installation of new finished galvanized edge detail at the perimeter of the walls and eaves, in a complimentary color to the building. Installation of new 2-inch (2") extruded fascia bar base and finished cap at the perimeter of the walls and eaves. Installation of any required vapor relief vents, per the manufacturer's requirements Installation of new galvanized gutter at the rear eaves with required downspouts. All post-installation debris removed. Upon completion of the work, a written warranty with no dollar limit shall be issued, either from the manufacturer or the contractor, including labor and material. Any leak related damage, not including building contents, will be capped at two million dollars ($2,000,000)
