OLD RESTORATION / REMEDIATION (2023 Capital Fund Program) General Conditions (primary controlled / affected areas) 5 The Housing Authority ofthe City of Wilmington, NC (WHA) is soliciting qualifications for Mold Remediation/Restoration. the successful respondent must be able to demonstrate their knowledge, experience, competencies, and skills related to remediation/restoration in compliance with industry standards as well as local, State and Federal rules and regulations governing abatement and restoration and, where applicable, disposal requirements. A. The successful respondent shall be responsible for the safety ofthe contractor's employees, contractor's work, work procedures, materials, equipment, transportation, signage, and related activities. The contractor shall be responsible for the cleanup and removal of debris from WHA properties. WHA shall provide and supply temporary power for remediation. Remote wash off station shall be set up to allow employees to wash hands and faces after egress from the work areas. All personal while in controlled area or handling microbial contaminated waste shall wear protective clothing, respirator, and other PPE (contractor will be responsible for the appropriate protective gear) B. The contractor will complete work within 72 hours (protocol) from notification ofunit address by WHA (this doesn't reflect time waiting for post-remediation test). C. The contractor will be responsible for notifying the property manager and or project manager when entering & exiting unit(s) and will be provided with a sign-in & sign-out form per WHA D. All wall / ceilings/ subfloors/ cavities/ insulation shall be removed & disposed in areas that specify the removal in the protocol. If additional CONTRACTORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR FOLLOWING THE MOLD/ BIOLOGICAL CONTAMINATION REMEDIATION PROTOCOL PROVIDED BY WHA
