Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,900-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Contract time and liquidated damages for failure to complete are detailed in the Contract Documents location 143 Timberlake Drive Brandon, MS 39047 4248 Hwy. 43 North Brandon, MS 39047 Bids shall be made out on the bid proposal form provided, sealed in an envelope, and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: Bid for Bathhouse Facilities, Timberlake Campground, Goshen Springs Campground, Bid #23-800-20-04. Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors establishing its classification as to the value and type of construction on which it is authorized to bid. Each bidder shall write its Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing its proposal. Each Bidder must deposit with its bid, security, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of its total. Security may be in the form of a Certified Check or a Bid Bond. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 1) mobilize equipment and personnel to the site(s), 2) construct 2,900 +/- masonry bathhouse building(s), 3) construct associated paved parking areas, 4) grade site, to include under cutting and backfill, and reestablish vegetation, 5) construct associated utility service extensions and connections, 6) demobilize equipment and personnel from the site All bids submitted in excess of $50,000, by Prime and Subcontractors, to perform any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance or related work must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985 by securing a Mississippi Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Contractors. Mississippi State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of its resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment of non-resident contractors with its bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor's current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
