Further Information May Be Obtained by Calling the School Business Administrator at 908-534-2885. All Bidders Must Use and Complete All Bid Forms and Must Comply With Every Requirement Contained in the Instructions and Specifications. Bids Are to Be Marked in a Sealed Envelope and Delivered to the School Business Administrator, With the Name of the Project, "Readington Township Board of Education Refuse Disposal and Recycling Collection Services" Plainly Marked on the Front of the Envelope. Every Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bid Bond in an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid or $20,000.00, Whichever is Less. Pursuant to P.l. 2004 C.57, All Bids Should Be Accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate Issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. All Bidders Are Required to Submit a Sworn Statement Indicating Whether the Bidder is, at the Time of the Bid, Included on the New Jersey State Treasurer's, or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders as a Result of Action Taken by Any State or Federal Agency. The Owner Shall Immediately Notify the State and the Unit of Fiscal Integrity, in Writing, Whenever It Appears That a Bidder is on the Treasurer's, or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders. The State of New Jersey Reserves the Right in Such Circumstances to Immediately Suspend Such Bidder From Contracting and to Take Such Other Action as is Deemed Appropriate Pursuant to N.j.a.c. 17:19-3.1 Et Seq. Or 6a:23-7.1 Et Seq. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:2-1 Et Seq., "Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action, N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27-1.1. Et Seq. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Sixty (60) Days From the Opening of the Bids. The Readington Township Board of Education Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and Waive Any Informality in the Bidding Process if It is in the Best Interest of the Board of Education. The Contract, if Awarded, Shall Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible Bidder. No Bid Shall Be Deemed Accepted Until the Adoption of a Formal Resolution by the Readington Township Board of Education.
