As of August 21, 2024, construction is underway. All bids shall be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid receipt without consent of the Owner. Each bidder shall accompany the Bid Form with a bid security as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids. Elementary School: This portion of the project involves the construction of 2 separate additions (totaling 28,000 SF) with the gymnasium space of the addition being constructed as a storm shelter space (8,500 SF). The additions will be designed for classrooms, cafeteria, kitchen, gymnasium, loading dock and a secure front entry. This project will also include extensive interior renovations which will include classrooms, storage spaces, media center, cafeteria/kitchen reconfigurations, exterior window replacements, bathroom upgrades, & mechanical and electrical system upgrades. The exterior will include the reconstruction of the parking lots, playground spaces, along with other exterior site improvements. This is designed to improve bus and parent drop-off zones and parking areas are being modified to improve safety for students and minimize traffic impacts to the neighborhood. High School: This portion of the project involves the construction of a new secured front entry configuration that will incorporate a new reception area as well as office spaces.
