Renovation of a mixed-use development in Luverne, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Luverne Public Schools Re-Roof. The Contractor and all subcontractors shall submit to the Owner a signed statement verifying compliance with each of the criteria described in the State of Minnesota Responsible Contractor law as codified in Minnesota Statute section 16C.285. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier's check or draft certified or issued by a state or national bank, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Luverne Public Schools; or in lieu thereof, bidder may furnish a bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota and payable to the Luverne Public Schools as a guarantee that such bidder will enter into a contract with the School for the work described in the bid and as specified. The Luverne Public Schools reserves the right to reject any part of, or all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. Liquidated damages shall be in effect for this project.
