UIC Project No. 606-C22076 Question Deadline 01/02/2024 Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to attend Student Center East Tower is a high traffic building with binary toilets on floors 4 - 7. The toilet rooms are well worn and do not meet ADA standards. This project will renovate the binary restrooms on floors 4 and 5, only, to add fixture count and meet ADA and Building Code standards. Renovated restrooms for this Project will match materials of recently renovated restrooms located on the lower floors. This contract does not include restrooms located on floors 6 and 7, which may be bid separately at a later time. This Project is located at: Student Center East Tower 750 S. Halsted St., Chicago, IL 60607 Floors 4 and 5. Prequalification Each bidder shall prequalify with the Owner in accordance with the General Instructions to Bidders (Document 00 20 00). The project-specific prequalification (Document 00 46 00) deadline is 4:00 p.m. prevailing time on 12/21/2023. All bidders shall be prequalified with the Owner. New bidders that are not prequalified shall prequalify using the Prequalification functionality in the Owner's web-based Vendor Services Application (VSA) Bid Acceptance or Rejection The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to accept the bids deemed to be in the best interests of the Owner after all bids have been examined and evaluated.
