The city is soliciting bids from certified electricians to create a list of qualified vendors for externally produced events in Redmond at Downtown Park. Bidders may ask questions or receive clarification on any portion of this IFB by participating in this pre-bid meeting with City staff. The City of Redmond, WA is seeking qualified professional electrician services to create a preferred vendors list for externally produced events at Downtown Park. These event venues may include 3-Phase Power Systems. City of Redmond event producers may contract electrical services for events from vendors approved by the City of Redmond. Provide labor and materials for electrical services for Downtown Park events. All project work areas are to be left in clean condition prior to final inspection and acceptance. This work is subject to the prevailing wage requirements of the State of Washington. The complete Scope of Work for this project is included as Attachment A and the Site Plan / Map is included as Attachment B. The City will not allow subcontracting of any kind to be performed on this work. Notice regarding site visits: If your staff visits the site to prepare proposals/reports, please stay on public streets. Do not enter private property. Licenses and permits: The contractor will be responsible for any licenses or permits. Equipment and supplies: Contractor will provide all personnel, mobile equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to perform these services. Working site conditions: Allowable working hours shall typically be 7am-3pm. Hours beyond this shall be coordinated with Adrienne Genise This contract will be awarded for one (1) year, from January 15, 2024, to January 14, 2025. The City reserves the right to renew this contract for four (4) additional one-year renewal terms, for a potential maximum total term of five (5) years (Attachment D, Option for Renewal), provided that 1) Contractor is in compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract and, 2) that the annual payment is cost-effective as determined by the City, and 3) that sufficient funds have been appropriated by the City Council. The City reserves the right to cancel this contract at any time, upon thirty (30) days written notice to the selected Contractor. The Contractor and any of its subcontractors will be required to pay, at a minimum, the applicable prevailing wage rates, in accordance with RCW 39.12. The prevailing wage rates which are in effect on the bid due date shall remain firm throughout the first twelve (12) months of the contract. The Contractor may request an annual price adjustment, to recognize and follow the most recently promulgated increases in prevailing wages. Contractor shall notify the City in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to any proposed price adjustment. Should the City exercise a renewal option, the City and Contractor may discuss any necessary changes to services and will confirm price/rates prior to each renewal.
