Description

Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Design plans call for the construction of a 140,000-square-foot, 10-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Replacement of the University of King's College Gymnasium with a new multi-purpose facility. The new building feature an underground gymnasium, a new space for Journalism, Writing & Publishing over the first three floors, and up to 100 new student residence spaces in the upper floors. TIMELINE: Concept design was presented in November 2025. Construction timing is subject to funding approvals. Further update may be available in Spring 2026.
