As of January 25,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Oroville Housing Development Department is seeking a qualified contractor to participate in the renovation and remodel a portion of a housing rehabilitation project for a residential home located at 2115 Spencer Ave in Oroville CA. All work associated with the removal and replacement of existing HVAC system. All work associated with the removal and replacement of eight (8) existing windows with new dual pane windows. All work associated with glazing replacement of two (2) existing windows. All work associated with the removal of the existing shower stall system and the installation of an ADA compatible shower stall system; walk-in or seated tub option to be determined by owner preference. All work associated with the plumbing demolition and replacement as needed to meet owners specifications. All work associated with the installation of new blow-in attic insulation. All work associated with the replacement of roofing. All work associated with the installation of gutter systems as needed. SQUARE FOOTAGE: 906 SF Contractor requirements: Current and active CA Contractors license in good standing and $1,000,000 general liability insurance naming the City of Oroville as additionally insured. The City of Oroville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any non-material defects in any submitted bids. Qualifying contractors must attend mandatory job walk to submit a bid for the job The project under this Formal Bid-Write-Up is the renovation on an existing single-story home. All work associated with the replacement of windows and all other work as requested in the project description in the Bid-Write Up documents. Qualifying contractors to verify all work at the Mandatory Job Walk. City of Oroville Housing Development Department is soliciting a Formal Bid Write-Up for General Contractor for a Best Value, Fixed Price. This write-up is part of a single-phase competitive process for the selection to complete construction of the Project.
