Installation shall be in full compliance with manufacturers recommended installation requirements. Upon completion of the work, the area of installation shall be left clean and ready for use. The completed installation shall be thoroughly vacuumed, with all rubbish removed from the site by the installer. The Vendor shall not commence work until a conference is held with the State agency intending to utilize the Vendor s services, at which representatives of the Vendor and the State are present. The conference shall be arranged by the State agency. The State shall require correction of any defective work and the repair of any damage to any part of a building, or its appurtenances caused by the Vendor or its employees, subcontractors, equipment or supplies. The Vendor shall correct, repair, or replace all defective work, as needed, to complete said work in satisfactory condition, and the Vendor shall repair all damage so caused in order to restore the building and its appurtenances to their previous condition. Upon failure of the Vendor to proceed promptly with the necessary corrections or repairs, the State may withhold any amount necessary to correct all defective work or repair all damage from payments to the Vendor. All bid submissions shall be treated as firm offers to remain valid for acceptance for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days from the bid due date.
