Chaffey Joint Union High School District is seeking a contractor to demo, remove and install two new outdoor walk-in freezers at the District Warehouse. Project Contact: Rory Nevins, Phone: 909-346-8753 10% Bid Bond required, 100% Payment Bond, 100% Performance Bond. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code 3300, the District requires that Bidders possess the following classification(s) of California Contractors License at the time that the contract for the work is awarded: A or B. Dispose of and remove two existing walk-in freezers. Install two new Imperial Brown walkin freezers in existing locations at the District warehouse at 1112 N. Vine Ontario, CA 91762 District to remove all necessary products, materials, and furnishings from existing freezers before removal. District dumpsters are not to be used for the disposal of any materials related to this project. Contractor shall provide and pay for dumpsters needed to collect all demolition debris, if necessary. District maintenance will schedule work to be done with the contractor according to product availability and site needs. District is responsible for the disconnection and reconnection ofthe freezer temperature alarms and burglar alarms on the freezers. District will install 2 new 3 phase 60 amp disconnects directly behind each freezer with wire brought to the line side for the contractor to use as point of connection. Contractor is responsible for the disconnecting and reconnecting of all utilities associated with this project. Contractor is responsible for providing their own electricity for this project. It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Bidder to submit such request not less than five (5) days prior to the scheduled closing for the receipt of Bid Proposals.
