The work consists of furnishing the equipment, facilities and labor required for removal and disposal of Lime Sludge from Lagoons at the City of Newark Water Treatment Plant, to approved land application sites for the period of 60 months starting on the date of the contract. Question Deadline 12/18/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Project Questions: Water Treatment Plant (740) 670-7965 Proposals shall be accompanied by either a Proposal Bond or by a Certified Check in the amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5000.00). A Contract Bond in the amount equal to the total bid price or in the amount of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) whichever is more, will be required for the faithful performance of the work. Sureties licensed to conduct business in the State of Ohio shall execute all Proposal and Contract Bonds. The right is reserved by the Director of Public Service of The City of Newark, Ohio to reject any or all bids, and to hold Bids for a period of 60 days after the bid opening for evaluation of both the proposals and qualifications of Bidders. The award of the Contract may be made at any time during this period. The work for which proposals are invited consists of furnishing the equipment, facilities and labor required for removal and disposal of Lime Sludge from Lagoons at the City of Newark Water Treatment Plant, to approved land application sites for the period of 60 months starting on the date of the contract.
