The City is requesting information on repair service programs that provide repair coverage for residential sewer and water service lines that connect the private residential structure to the public utility service lines (system). Solicitation responses must be submitted in a sealed envelope, unless otherwise specified in the Solicitation. The response must clearly identify the Company Name and Address, Solicitation Number, and the Bid Opening Date and Time. It is the Bidder's responsibility to include the number of copies specified in the Solicitation. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued as a means of discovery and information gathering about programs that provide repair services for residential sewer and water service lines. The City of Phoenix is interested in contracting with a provider of warranty service plans for residents (homeowners, property owners) to opt into with the purpose of maintaining repair coverage. The program shall be structured so that coverage rates and services provided remain an interaction and transaction between the residents and the provider. The RFI is for planning purposes only and should not be construed as a solicitation nor should it be construed as an obligation on the part of the City to make any purchases. This RFI is not a means to pre-qualify vendors. This is not a formal solicitation but rather a request for interested parties to provide information as specified herein. The City of Phoenix is not responsible for any costs incurred in order to participate in this process. All information and demonstrations provided are at the Respondents own expense. The City of Phoenix intents to issue a formal solicitation in the future based on the RFI responses. No purchases will be made as a result of this request.
