The Work of this Contract generally includes wastewater system removal and replacement including: 1. Mobilization 2. Prepare, submit, and obtain approval of operate cut permits and traffic control plans through the Town of Monument 3. Prepare, submit, and obtain approval of all permits required by the Town of Monument including the Storm water Management Plan and Erosion and Sediment Control Plan 4. Potholing eight (8) individual existing utilities as indicated on Sheet 2 of 7 5. Installation of approximately 87 lineal feet (LF) of 4-inch diameter SDR35 PVC sewer service pipeline complete with excavation, Class "B" bedding, compacted backfill, and surface restoration 6. Installation of 12-inch diameter SDR26 PVC sewer pipeline complete with excavation, Class "B" bedding, compacted backfill and surface restoration at the following depths a. Installation of approximately 913 LF at a depth under 8 feet b. Installation of approximately 746 LF at a depth between 8 feet to 16 feet c. Installation of approximately 554 LF at a depth over 16 feet Separate sealed bids for the Wastewater System Improvements - 2023 project consisting of one schedule of work, generally consisting of 2,213 line feet (LF) of 12-inch diameter SDR26 PVC pipe with Class B bedding; 87 LF of 4-inch diameter SDR35 PVC pipe with Class B bedding; 600 LF of 2-inch to 4-inch diameter rock stabilization under Class B bedding; 20 LF of controlled low strength material encasement (CLSM) around existing facilities; 2 each (EA) of CLSM under existing utilities; 1 EA of 12-inch by 6-inch wye with 10 LF of 6-inch SDR35 PVC pipe and connection to existing piping; 8 EA new 5-foot ID manholes; removal of existing manholes 9 EA; 91 LF of 24-inch diameter steel casing pipe with 12-inch diameter SDR26 PVC pipe carrier pipe by jack and bore; core existing manhole 1 EA; bypass pumping; 148 square yards (SY) asphalt street removal and replacement; 4-inch wide double center line yellow striping on new asphalt; 1 acre (AC) seeding; obtain approval and operate permitting required by the Town of Monument; together with all incidental materials of construction, complete in place.
