As of April 16, 2024, per owner a design team has been identified. Design/construction timeline will be in 2025. The City of Salem is seeking sealed proposals from qualified Offerors to provide engineering services for the design, construction contract administration, and construction inspection to replace approximately 8,000 feet of existing interceptor with 30-inch diameter pipe along Mason Creek. The City of Salem reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all informalities or irregularities in any proposal. The City reserves the right to award as it deems in the best interest of the City of Salem. No proposal may be withdrawn after opening except for clerical errors, as set forth in Section 2.2-4330 of the Virginia Code. Offeror must give the City a notice in writing of the request to withdraw a proposal within two (2) business days after conclusion of opening. ALL INFORMATION AND CLARIFICATION INQUIRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING TO: MICHELLE BRAXTON, PURCHASING MANAGER AT LMBRAXTON@SALEMVA.GOV BY 3:00 P.M. ON DECEMBER 19, 2023. If necessary, an addendum will be issued and emailed to all Offerors who were emailed the original RFP. Any such addenda shall become a part of the solicitation documents, must be addressed in the proposal, if applicable, and shall become a Contract Document. The City accepts no liability for late or non-receipt of addenda. Provide a project schedule for engineering, bidding and Construction. Show start date when your team is ready to begin work. The City of Salem would like to bid this project in Fiscal Year 2025 (July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025). The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
