ANTHC is in need of plumbers and HVAC mechanical contractors. Contractors should carefully review this solicitation for errors, questionable or objectionable materials, and items requiring clarification. Contractors shall put these comments and/or questions in writing and submit them to the ANTHCs contact person at least seven (7) calendar days before the due date of the proposal. This will allow time for an amendment to the RFP to be issued, if required, to all recipients of the initial RFP. Award of multiple Term-Contracts are anticipated as a result of this solicitation. ANTHC is in need of plumbers and HVAC mechanical contractors. Proposers may submit on wet or dry or both. a. Base Proposal 1: Plumbing Services: Mechanical Contractor agrees to perform any or all (but not limited to) of the following services which will be specified on individual Delivery Orders. - Medical Gas and Vacuum - Waste Water Systems - Ventilation - Domestic Water Systems - Heating Systems - Chilling Systems - Cutting, welding, brazing, soldering, threading - HDPE pipe work - Aquatherm (or equal technologies) - Victaulic - Fuel Systems - Irrigation Systems - Backflow prevention - Boiler Work b. Base Proposal 2: HVAC Services: Manufacture, fabrication, assembling, handling, installation, dismantling, conditioning, adjustment, alteration, repairing and servicing of all ferrous or nonferrous metal work and all other materials used in lieu thereof in HVAC systems. - Installation of HVAC Equipment with connections, seismic brazing and other attachments. - Insulation - Testing and balancing of all air-handling equipment and ductwork - Controls - The preparation of all shop and field sketches, whether manually drawn or computer assisted, used in fabrication and erection, including those taken from original mechanical and engineering drawings c. Base Plus Proposal: Plumbing and HVAC Services: All the services outlined in Base Proposal 1 and 2. The Contractor shall provide all services in accordance with the scope of this solicitation, and the scope of works provided, subject to the terms and conditions. Location of Work :All projects will be performed primarily within the Anchorage area to include the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC), surrounding campus support buildings and any ANTHC owned or leased properties. The ANTHC intends to award multiple term-contracts to the highest scoring Contractors. The initial contract term will be a one (1) year period, and may be renewed for up to two (2) additional one-year terms based on the successful performance by the Contractor and the needs of ANTHC, for a total of three (3) years. The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options, shall not exceed three (3) years and six (6) months.
