Site work and paving for a civil project in Folkston, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Replace with The replacement of the existing RCP pipes with +-48 LF of 42-inch RCP pipes, the removal and replacement of 75 yd 2 of asphalt, rip rap, two concrete headwalls, erosion control measures, traffic control, and all other necessary appurtenances for a complete job. All work on the Project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Charlton County prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the Charlton County for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids. Charlton County, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to overlook and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the proposals.
