The Atlanta Independent School System (hereinafter, "Atlanta Public Schools" or "APS") invites qualified contractors to submit proposals to provide E-Rate eligible wireless equipment and wireless services. Atlanta Public Schools is looking for a qualified vendor to provide an infrastructure wireless service and support compatible with Cisco Meraki or equivalent products and Cisco Meraki's cloud-based dashboard that includes access to all those products that includes access to all (provides full wireless network coverage to all) school instructional areas as well as all administrative areas including, at a minimum, academic classrooms (including gymnasiums) for all content areas, frequently used study areas, media centers, assembly spaces (including stadium press boxes, etc.), the library and administrative offices (including conference rooms). Proposals shall provide transparent roaming connectivity to the school's wireless LAN as students and staff move among the various rooms, and areas in a school building and throughout the district. The solution must provide hardware/equipment, cabling, installation, configuration, licenses, site assessment, warehousing/storage, shipping, inside delivery, on-site installation, configuration/testing, training, documentation, warranty support, and all things necessary for the provision of wireless infrastructure and associated services, in accordance with the requirements of this RFP.
