Bids are requested for the following work: PROJECT 7799 The Project is approximately a 548 SF Level 2 Alteration in the existing kitchen at Fire Station #8 located at 135 Dauphin Street, Green Bay, WI 54301. The Scope includes but is not limited to:o Demolition of existing finishes, countertops, casework, etc. as required for new work o Provide new casework and countertops o Provide new epoxy flooring with vinyl base over existing resinous flooring o Provide new acoustic ceiling tile and grid o Provide new lighting and new receptacle locations throughout o Provide new Type 1 exhaust hood and rooftop makeup air unit with ductwork o Install new Owner provided kitchen equipment o Alternate to provide new finishes in the adjacent Recreation Room OWNER - The Village of Allouez and the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department acting through its Village Board hereby gives notice that sealed bids will be received in the Village Hall Office for the above mentioned project. All bids shall be addressed to the Village of Allouez, C/O: Chris Clark, Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Director,1900 Libal St., Green Bay, Wisconsin 54301. BID SECURITY - No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Allouez in the amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/payment bonds and insurance certification, as required by the contract documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any information in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Village of Allouez. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER.
