Demolition and renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.
Upgrades and repairs to Roger-Gaudry pavilion of Montreal University. The scope of the project includes complete redevelopment of wings A and B as well as certain premises in wing D of the 3rd floor. The Package 55133 of the project will include renovation of the Biochemistry teaching laboratory, of the entire wing A on the 3rd floor and certain premises of wing D, to install a new laundry that will serve the teaching and research laboratories of the Roger-Gaudry pavilion. The project will require a partial interior demolition of the existing premises. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. Working drawings are expected to begin in late 2025. Construction start is not anticipated before 2026 summer period. Notes: - The firm Amcon was awarded for characterization of materials and plans and specifications preparation following an invited RFP 55133/55477_511_ZK_GRÉ. - Expected duration of the contract without options (in months): 30.
