Demolition and renovation of an educational facility in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.

Upgrades and repairs to Roger-Gaudry pavilion of Montreal University. The scope of the project includes complete redevelopment of wings A and B as well as certain premises in wing D of the 3rd floor. The Package 55133 of the project will include renovation of the Biochemistry teaching laboratory, of the entire wing A on the 3rd floor and certain premises of wing D, to install a new laundry that will serve the teaching and research laboratories of the Roger-Gaudry pavilion. The projet will require a partial iterior demolition of the existing premises. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded a team of architectural and engineering professional consultants to complete design and construction work monitoring of the project. Preliminary studies and conceptual design are underway. Preliminary plans are expected to begin in late 2024. Timelines of further project development are being finalized. Note. The firm Amcon was awarded for characterization of materials and plans and specifications preparation following an invited RFP 55133/55477_511_ZK_GRÉ. Expected duration of the contract without options (in months): 30.
