Creek Road Culvert Replacement Project This Project Involves a Storm Culvert Replacement on Creek Road Located in Springfield Township, Mercer County, Pa. Project to Include the Removal of Existing Pipe and Associated Structures, Installation of an Aluminum Arch Culvert and Wall Features, Inlets, Storm Sewers, Road Reconstruction, Updated Traffic Safety Devices, and Traffic Control. Construction Activities Will Include: Installation and Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Controls, Excavation and Grading, Installation of Aluminum Arch Culvert System, and Removal of Erosion and Sediment Controls. The Engineer, the Mercer County Conservation District, Cdgrs, Tu, and Project Owner Will Have Full Access to Construction Site. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates Will Be Required on This Contract. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, Along With Public Liability And Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the Amounts Specified, as Well As Certificates of Workman's Compensation Must Be Filed With the Executed Agreement. Proposals to Receive Consideration Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond From a Surety Company Authorized to Do Business in Pennsylvania, Made to the Order of Springfield Township in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Proposal as a Guarantee That, if the Proposal is Accepted, the Successful Bidder Will Enter Into an Agreement Within Fifteen (15) Days After Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Township Reserves the Right to Waive Any Bid Informalities or to Reject Any or All Bids. If More Time is Necessary for the Determination of the Lowest Responsible Bidder, The Supervisors of Springfield Township Reserve the Right to Award the Contract Later but Not Exceeding Sixty (60) Days From the Date Bids Were Submitted. Such Date Will Be Publicly Announced Immediately After the Bids Are Opened.
