Site work for a water / sewer project in Middletown, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of providing all labor, equipment, materials, and other services necessary to construct and develop two 16-inch diameter raw water wells at Warren County's Middletown Junction Wellfield. Each well shall be capable of producing approximately 1,000 to 1,500 gallons per minute, drilled to a depth of approximately 85 and 92 feet below ground surface, equipped with 20- foot stainless steel screens, and developed with a Parry Sand gravelpacked filter columns. To be given consideration all questions must be received by 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 4, 2023. The Board of Warren County Commissioners reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, to reject all bids, and to waive any irregularities in bids. The work to be completed shall not be limited to the exact extent described in the specifications but shall include all incidental work necessary and customary for completion of the project. C. The Contractor shall be responsible for the movement of their drilling equipment on and off the site, as required, and shall take all necessary measures to minimize damage to the property. D. All work shall be in accordance with these specifications, the Warren County Water and Sewer Standard Details, and current Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) Water Well Standards. In the event of any discrepancy between these specifications and OEPA Standards, the OEPA Standards will take precedence. E. Potable Water Well drilling and installation work for this project includes: 1.Drilling and installation of two (2) 16-inch diameter production wells that meet all Ohio public water supply standards. 2.Drilling for well installation to be accomplished by cable tool method only. 3.Prepare drilling and well construction records during well installation. 4.Collection of soil samples during drilling. 5.Well filter pack installation. 6.Well development. 7.Step-drawdown pumping test 8.48-hour constant rate pumping test 9.Water quality sampling and testing
