Playbird Road Reconstruction Between Highland Rd and Rangeline Rd 2022/23 LRIP TRIS Funded Project Town of Sheboygan Falls Sheboygan County, Wisconsin This Project is part of the LRIP TRIS Program. Project is reconstructing about 2.7 miles of Playbed Road about 1,530 east of Highland Road to Rangeline Road. Proposed work consists of provid ing traffic control, installing sit fence, grubbing stumps, removing existing culverts, removing pavement drives to right-of-way pulverizing existing pave ment, preparing roadway foundation by shaping and compacting, filling low areas to provide additional cover over culverts, installing additional base aggre gate, installing new crossing culverts and drive culverts, widening the existing roadway, constructing 3 wide gravel shoulders, graveling field entrances, grading ditches, salvaging and replacing topsol, installing ip rap, placing seed and muich, placing slope and channel erosion matting, installing straw hale ditch checks, replacing driveways to right-of-way, paving road, striping pave ment, and any incidental items necessary to complete the work PREQUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS All Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the type and amount of work included in the contract or demonstrate qualifications to perform the work. Bidders which sin not pre-qualified with the Wiscon Department and af Transportation are required to complete and submit Attachment B Statement of Qualifications for General Construction and Corporate Experience Record, with the Bid package (included in the Bid Form Section). In addition, the Bidder must be prepared to submit within 5 days of Town's request. additional written evidence, such as financial data, present commitments, and other such data as may be called for by the Town of Sheboygan Falls. Bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of Bidder's qualifications to do business in the State of Wisconsin or covenant to obtain such qualifications prior to the award of the contract. Bidder shall have at least 3 years of continuous experience in roadway or similar construction. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by the Proposal Playbird Road Reconstruction fully executed by the bidder. The bidder that is awarded the contract agrees to execute the contract agreement within five (5) days after the Notice of Award, begin work after written Notice to Proceed, and complete all work included under the terms of the contract in the allotted time CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE Construction will start after April 1, 2024, and after receiving the Notice to Proceed. Completion of all work included in the contract no later than November 15. 2024 The Town of Sheboygan Falls reserves the right to reject any and all bids or accept the lowest responsible bid that it deems to be in the best interest of the Town.
