A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Southside Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 1899 Clinton Raymond Road, Clinton, MS. The project includes the supply and installation of generators for wastewater facilities. The existing Southside WWTF is a 3.5 MGD extended aeration oxidation ditch treatment system. The plans and specifications describe replacement of an existing fixed generator and provision of a mobile generator with electrical modifications and site improvements to support each while the facility remains in operation The Contract Time will be Two Hundred Ten (210) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $500 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Each bidder shall write his Certificate of Responsibility number and Mississippi License number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his bid. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent of his bid, payable to the City of Clinton, MS as bid security. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract, issued by a Surety company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi. Bidders shall submit a current financial statement if requested by the City. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Payment Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after date of actual bid opening, without Owner's consent. Funding for the project is through a Mississippi Municipal and County Water Infrastructure Grant, MDEQ Agreement No. 321- 2-CW-5.5. Contractor shall conform to the grant requirements.
