Renovation of a water / sewer project in Moline, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Those bidders wishing to hand deliver their bids are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled opening in order for bids to be appropriately stamped in and received. Delivered bids shall be clearly marked WTP Lighting Improvements Project. The project consists of making improvements to lighting fixtures within the treatment plant by conversion or replacement to LED technology. The following items make up the scope of the project: Remove and replace existing troffer-style light fixtures with new flat panel LED light fixtures as listed in Exhibit B. Remove and replace lamps and ballasts in existing vapor-tight fluorescent light fixtures with LED line voltage lamps as listed in Exhibit B. Remove and replace existing high-bay metal halide light fixtures with new LED high bay fixtures as listed in Exhibit B. Remove and replace lamps and ballasts in existing explosion-proof type light fixtures with new line voltage LED lamps as listed in Exhibit B. Remove outdoor light fixtures and replaced with comparable LED fixtures and/or lamps as listed in Exhibit B. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bid evaluation shall be on a lump sum basis. This project is contingent on the city receiving community block grant funds from U.S. Department of Energy. Fees Contractors shall provide a lump sum fee to complete the project scope. A contract shall be developed based on the scope and fee established in this bid process. Additional Information Contractor may provide any additional information the Contractor feels will assist the City in their evaluation of the Contractor's proposal. This project will be bid and constructed under the terms of the Illowa Construction Labor and Management Council's IMPACT Agreement (Exhibit C). Qualified Contractors interested in performing the work described in this document should submit a minimum of the following information to the City. A proposal that does not include all of the information required may be deemed incomplete and is subject to rejection. Responses must include all of the items listed below, in the order listed: Contractor Information and Experience The Contractor should provide the following information: Primary contact information for the company including contact name(s) and title(s), mailing address(s), phone number(s), and email address(s). Certification of the firm's commitment to following water treatment plant security protocols. A lump sum cost proposal for completion the project scope. Certification of firm's commitment to non-discrimination.
