No Bidder May Withdraw His Proposal for at Least Sixty (60) Days After the Time Scheduled for the Opening of Proposals. Each Proposal Shall Follow the Instructions Listed in the Rfp Regarding Submittal of Their Proposal Proposals Will Be Evaluated by the Purchaser Based on the Evaluation Criteria Outlined in the Request for Proposals. Lafayette Consolidated Government Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Proposals or Any Portions Thereof, to Waive Informalities and to Select the Material That Best Suits Its Needs. Lcg Further Reserves The Right to Make an Award Without Further Discussion of the Proposal Submitted. Therefore, the Proposal Should Be Submitted Initially on the Most Favorable Terms That the Vendor Can Offer. At Its Discretion, Lcg Reserves the Right to Request Best and Final Offers From the Rfp Finalists. The Vendor Should Be Prepared to Accept This Rfp for Incorporation Into a Contract Resulting From This Rfp. The Contract May Incorporate Some or All of the Vendors Proposal. It is Understood That the Proposal Will Become a Part of the Official File on This Matter Without Obligation to Lcg. Contractors or Contracting Firms Submitting Proposals in the Amount of $1.00 or More Shall Certify That They Are Licensed Contractors and Show Their License Number on the Front of the Sealed Envelope in Which Their Proposal Is Enclosed. Contractors Shall Be Licensed With the Louisiana State Contractors Licensing Board in the Classification of: Hazardous Materials or Hazardous Waste Treatment or Removal. Proposals in the Amount of $1.00 or More, Not Submitted in Accordance With This Requirement, Shall Be Rejected and Shall Not Be Read. Additional Information Relative to Licensing May Be Obtained From the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. If the Project is Asbestos or Hazardous Waste, Contractors Submitting Proposals in the Amount of $1.00 or More Shall Be Properly Licensed in Accordance With Chapter 24 of Title 37 Of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950. The Lafayette Consolidated Government Strongly Encourages the Participation of Dbes (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) in All Contracts or Procurements Let by the Lafayette Consolidated Government for Goods And Services and Labor and Material.
