Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; transportation facility; transportation facility; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

The scope of the project consists of site preparation, grading, drainage, utilities, roadway improvements on Apollo Blvd, rehabilitation of Taxiway S, construction of Taxiway H, airfield lighting and signage, perimeter fencing, and construction of a multi-tenant PCC apron pavement associated with the DFJ Program Requirements. Project no.2022.0222.07, 2301-DFJ Notice to Proceed for the project will be issued upon completion of all preconstruction activities and permitting. Contract time from NTP is 365 calendar days, which includes up to 60 calendar days for procurement and 14 calendar days for closeout. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the Total Amount Bid must be submitted with the proposal. A Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each in sum equal to 100% of the amount of the Contract awarded, will be required prior to execution of contract. The DBE Participation Goal for this Contract is 10% The Melbourne Airport Authority reserves the rights to waive any informalities or reject any and all proposals, or to re-advertise for proposals.
