Site work and paving for a civil project in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project includes construction of a 0.5 million gallon elevated storage tank, booster pump station and associated infrastructure including grading, roadway, water and erosion controls. All Bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid. The amount of said bid security will be forfeited to the OWNER and the bank or surety shall be liable to the OWNER for the amount in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a contract or furnish bonds as hereafter required within ten (10) days after the date of notice of award. Performance and payment bonds shall be issued in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount by a solvent corporate surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by Owner pursuant to applicable law The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. In case of lack of clarity in stating prices, the OWNER reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or reject the bid.
