The City of Pittsburg invites proposals from qualified firms for Janitorial Services for the City of Pittsburg for four (4) building locations: City Hall/Police Department (65 Civic Avenue), Housing Authority (Community Access) (916 Cumberland Avenue), Pittsburg Senior Center (300 Presidio Lane) and the Pittsburg Library (80 Power Avenue) in Pittsburg, California. The scope of work is specific to each building location as described in the RFP. Deadline for Questions on RFP January 5, 2024 Responses to Questions Sent January 8, 2024 Services Begin March 1, 2024 The Request for Proposal (RFP) is not a contract and the City reserves the right to award to multiple proposers, reject any and all proposals. FIRM QUOTE. Proposers' prices shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days from the Date Due, unless otherwise specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP). DISPOSITION. The City reserves the right to cancel or reject any or all proposals. All materials and documents submitted with the proposal will become the property of the City. INFORMED PROPOSERS. Before submitting proposals, Proposers must fully inform themselves of the conditions, requirements and specifications of the work or materials to be furnished, as well as the contract provisions. Failure to do so will be at Proposers' own risk and they cannot secure relief on the plea of error or oversight. In the event of inconsistency between the RFP and the General Services Agreement, the General Services Agreement shall govern. Terms of the Offer. The City of Pittsburg City Manager or City Council's acceptance of Proposer's offer shall be for 2023, with the option in the sole discretion of the City to extend the term twice for two (2) years each, for a total of five (5) years maximum.
