It is the intent of GEUS to secure pricing for the service of Transformer Repairs for Pole-mount and Pad-mount Transformers and for scrapping of distribution transformers, on an "as needed basis", for use by Greenville Electric Utility System (GEUS). This contract shall remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from award date. Contingent upon the availability of funds and the ability of the successful proposer to honor the quoted prices, GEUS reserves the right to renew the existing contract. The contract award may be extended annually, for a period of up to five (5) years. All repaired items shall be shipped F.O.B., freight pre-paid, GEUS, 6000 Joe Ramsey Boulevard, Greenville, TX 75402. Products shall be fully serviced with all necessary lubricants and fluid levels necessary for normal operation, prior to delivery All transformers are to be picked up and delivered by the successful bidder at GEUS's facility located at 6000 Joe Ramsey Blvd., Greenville, Texas. Truck delivery schedules are coordinated with an approximate turnaround of repair work -normally every 6 weeks but with the capabilities to handle emergency turnaround work when necessary.
