The project will consist of the removal of asbestos containing materials in location designated by the Owner. The AAC shall conduct all asbestos related and non-asbestos related work required to complete their work as herein specified. The AAC is responsible for the cleaning of all areas listed in the scope of work and removal of all listed asbestos containing building materials and asbestos containing or contaminated materials and waste as specified in this scope of work and identified in their contract with the General Contractor. All work will be in accordance with all regulatory requirements and all requirements set forth in this document. Requests for information regarding contractual and environmental matters related to this BID will be answered until December 26, 2023, 3:00 p.m INVITATION FOR BIDS GORDON ISD will receive sealed bids for a single construction contract for ADDITION and RENOVATION to GORDON ISD - ASBESTOS ABATEMENT. Bids are to include all work specified and/or shown on the project drawings for demolition as related to asbestos abatement related activities. Complete bid documents, plans and specifications are on file and available for inspection at the office of the Flint Inspection Consulting Services, Inc., 538 Dove Lane, Wichita Falls, TX 76305-7001 Gordon ISD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the opening of bids without consent of the Gordon ISD.
