The Estuary Transit District (ETD) is issuing an Invitation for Bids('IFB") to solicit proposals from qualified firms to obtain Sealed proposals to satisfy Estuary Transit District need for Janitorial Services to serve its three locations. It's the goal of this proposal to identify a vendor(s) and execute a contract to meet this need. ETD is committed to diversity and to supporting its community. Locations to Serve. 1- 91 North Main, St Middletown CT 06457 ( Main Office) (2) Days a week 2- 340 Main St, Middletown CT 06457 (Bus Terminal) (6) Days a week 3- 17 Industrial Park Rd, Centerbrook CT 06409 (Bus Parking) (2) days a week Cleaning hours of operations are two (2) days a week (Tuesday and Thursday ) for Administration Offices at 91 North Main St, Middletown, and Centerbrook. Cleaning hours of the Bus Terminal are Six (6) days a week of Operations, Monday through Saturday, it is expected that routine work will be completed. All schedules must be approved by the Project Manager or his designee, prior to any work being performed. This IFB provides interested parties sufficient information to prepare and submit proposals for ETD's consideration to satisfy the needs defined in the Scope of Work (SOW) for this project (SEE APPENDIX A). The goal of this IFB is to identify qualified candidates based on a selection of evaluation criteria that will assist the agency in determining the best candidate for this project. This IFB, including all attachments, together with the Contractor's bid will form the entire agreement between the Contractor and ETD. No exceptions to the Sample Contract attached to this IFB are allowable. SUBCONTRACTING. All firms are advised that subcontracting will be allowed under the terms of this contract. PROPOSAL QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS AND/OR SUGGESTIONS. Proposers are encouraged to make suggestions and recommendations regarding the specifications and content of this Proposal. All suggestions will be reviewed by the Evaluating Committee assigned to this project and will be addressed in writing via an addendum. Additionally, questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding the content of this Proposal are to be submitted in writing and will be addressed in the same addendum format. If a Proposer feels a conflict exists between what is considered a good practice and these specifications, he/she shall state in writing all objections prior to submitting a Proposal. All interested Proposers who requested a Proposal will receive all issued addenda.
