The Montgomery County, Department of Correction and Rehabilitation needs maintenance and repair services janitorial cleaning machines. The Contractor must have been in business for at least five (5) years and maintain licenses/certifications as applicable. The Contractor must conduct monthly service /inspections on all motorized floor cleaning machines at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Boyds, MD. All inspections and repairs must comply with the equipment manufacturers' recommendations. All work performed by the Contractor must meet local, state, and federal codes and standards as applicable. Repairs that cannot be completed at the time of the monthly inspection must be done within five (5) business days after completing the monthly inspection. Requests for an emergency repair must be responded to within one (1) business day upon receipt of the request. The Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP). Should it be determined there are no viable Local Small Businesses that respond to this solicitation, Montgomery County may exercise an option to extend the informal solicitation advertisement for a minimum of five (5) days as non-LSBRP. Any advertisement extension will be in the form of a solicitation amendment with the reissuance of the informal solicitation. The Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation (DOCR) with headquarters in Boyds, Maryland, operates the Montgomery County Correctional Facility (MCCF), located at 22880 Whelan Lane, Boyds, MD 2084, the Montgomery County Detention Center (MCDC) located at 1307 Seven Locks Road, Rockville, MD, 20854 has a supply of floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums that require routine maintenance and repair. A. The Contractor must have been in operation for at least five (5) years and maintain licenses/certifications as applicable. B. The Contractor must conduct monthly service on all motorized floor cleaning machines at the Montgomery County Department of Correction & Rehabilitation (DOCR) facilities. The DOCR has an inventory of ten (10) buffers, ten (10) scrubbers, and twelve (12) vacuums. Maintenance service includes the cost of replacement parts and labor. The County reserves the right to change the manufacturer, make, or model of the equipment of machines in the inventory. C. All inspections and repairs must comply with the equipment manufacturers' recommendations. All work performed by the Contractor must meet local, state, and federal codes and standards as applicable. The Contractor must reply to emergency repair requests within one (1) business day upon receipt of the request. Emergency repairs are not included in the monthly maintenance service and are compensated on a time and material rate. E. The Contractor must provide a designated point of contact to assist with questions and coordinate repair requests. The Contractor must offer support services for questions or receiving repair requests.
