Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Salem, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The contract will consist of the following: Shelby St from SR 56 to 155 south of Houston St. Work includes storm sewer construction, retaining wall replacement, curb and gutter, milling and paving, and associated work items as listed in the Schedule of Values and outlined in the project manual and plans. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any questions shall be directed to Evan Shaffer of HWC Engineering by email only at eshaffer @hwcengineering.com. The deadline for questions is Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 10:00 am. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond made payable to the Owner, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days
