Question Cuttoff Date & Time 1/3/2024 04:00:00 PM (ET). Any questions pertaining to this RFQ procedure or specifications must be submitted through Electronically. The District is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified specialty consultants to provide professional Structural Engineering Services. Submission of a response confers no right on a Responder to an award or to a subsequent contract (defined below) with the District. The District reserves the rights to reject any or all response(s) and to waive any technicalities. The issuance of this RFQ does not obligate the District to make an award or negotiate a contract. The District reserves the right to amend the terms and provisions of the RFQ, negotiate with any Responder (defined below), add, delete, or modify the requirements for any needed contract or service, extend the deadline for submission of responses, or withdraw the RFQ entirely for any reason solely at the district's discretion. A response may be rejected if it fails to meet any requirement of this RFQ. The District may seek clarification from a Responder at any time, and failure to respond within a reasonable time frame is cause for rejection of a response. Please be sure to allow enough time to complete all the documents and uploads. You do not have to do everything at one time, you can upload documents as they are complete. Failure to correct errors or not uploading requested documents will prevent you from submitting your RFQ response.
The types of projects included vary in scope, size, scheduling and type of professional services required. New schools, new support facilities, renovations of existing campuses and facilities, HVAC installation and renovations, security upgrades, technology upgrades, athletic facility upgrades, re-roofing projects, and numerous facility maintenance and operation projects will benefit from this Request for qualification process. Services will also include by is not limited to pre-planning, planning, design, engineering, consulting services from the following disciplines: Structural Engineering. The initial contract for Traffic Engineering Services based upon the Board of Trustees approval will be for two years from date of award until January 31, 2025 with three (3) one year automatic renewals available. The District reserves the right to automatically renew or to not use the automatic renewal depending on the satisfactory delivery of the services specified in this Request for Qualification. In the event this proposal expires before another proposal is awarded, the District may extend the proposal term on a month-to-month basis on the same terms, by mutual agreement with the vendor, until such time as the District completes a new procurement solicitation. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
