Renovation of a mixed-use development in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Scope includes construction of a competition in ground pool and all necessary equipment associated to the pool, a pool house constructed with single wythe split face cmu exterior walls, with interior cmu and select wood stud interior walls. Roof construction includes wood trusses with standing seam metal roof. Alternates are considered and need to be reviewed as they are substantial to scope. E. Project cost range is anticipated to be under $3,000,000 F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades) to be under one prime contractor. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. Any bids not submitted on the proper form shall not be considered. Invite will be distributed to plan holders on Lynn Imaging Website as well as any contractors requesting to be included. For access contractors to email request to jcash@scbarchitects.com. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages as indicated in Section 006100 - Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. 1.7 BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS A. Successful bidders will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. The bond shall cover the entire base bid cost and any accepted alternates. B.
