Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Frederick, Maryland. Completed plans call for the construction of a 60,000-square-foot fire / police facility.

Please note: Divisions 26, 27, & 28 are bidding 1-5-2024 and are being tracked under a separate project. Contact the construction manager for contractor award information. The project is a four-story existing building that will be 95% gutted for a full retrofit on all floors and has a new one-story garage and sally port addition with the associated site work. The building portion of the project is 67,404 SF. The selective interior demo has started under a separate permit and should be complete by Christmas. The project does require MBE participation and is based on meeting Silver LEEDs. All MBE subs & suppliers are encouraged to participate. All subs should provide MBE participation with your bid. Provide a breakout clarifying any fees (along with the dollar amount of the MBE) that would be added to your base bid if you are not a registered MBE. Also include the MBE information for the MBE sub or supplier you have included. There are no wage rate requirements for this project. Provide a breakdown showing the items & time requirements for all long lead items within your scope.
