A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for acceptance by the Borough to provide professional architectural and engineering design and CA services for the purpose of preparing comprehensive estimates and construction documents to be used for soliciting bids for construction to replace the roofs at the Nikiski North Star Elementary School, 45600 Holt Lamplight Rd., Nikiski, AK 99635 and Mountain View Elementary School, 315 Swires Road, Kenai, AK 99611. Any questions regarding this proposal are to be submitted in writing to the Purchasing and Contracting Director by no later than 5:00 PM local time on January 4, 2024. Questions may be submitted through the online questions and answers on online faxed to (907) 714-2373 or emailed to purchasing@kpb.us. The subject line of the email should read: "Questions: RFP24-012 Nikiski North Star & Mountain View Elementary Roof Replacements". Licenses and Certifications Proposers shall include with their proposals copies of all licenses, certificates, registrations and other credentials required for performance under the contract. Documentation must be current and must have been issued by or under authority of the State of Alaska or, if documentation is from an outside jurisdiction, such documentation must be accepted as valid by the State of Alaska for performance in Alaska. Such documentation shall include, but is not limited to, Alaska business license and applicable professional licenses, registrations and certificates.
