Closing Time: 2:30 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/12/18 02:30:00 PM NST The Contractor Shall Supply All the Necessary Labour, Materials, Tools and Test Instruments; Except as Otherwise Particularly Instructed, for the Proper Performance of Maintenance and Minor Construction on the Electrical Systems Located Within the Contract Groups (a-1) Identified in "List of Contracts and Locations" on Pages 11 and 12 of This Document. Contractors Can Bid on Any Number of School Groups (a-1). All Work Shall Comply With the Requirements of the Canadian Electrical Code, Latest Edition. The Work Shall Include but is Not Necessarily Limited to the Following: 1 Repairing, Replacing or Installing New Wiring or Conduits for Power, Heating, Lighting, Communication, Control, or Certain Signalling Systems as Directed by the Operations Manager. 2 Repairing, Replacing or Installing New Proper Size and Type of Starters, Controllers, Motors, Overloads, Fuses, Breakers, Lights, Switches, Receptacles, Etc. 3 Trouble Shoot and Repair a Variety of Appliances and Equipment, Including Items Such as Kitchen Equipment, Emergency Power Systems, Hvac Systems, Power Distribution Systems, Etc. 4 Ensuring All Work Installed Complies With the Applicable Codes in Force at the Time Work is Undertaken. 5 Provide Additional Circuitry With Proper Capacity for New Equipment. 6 if Requested, Carry Out Any Preventive Maintenance Programs That May Be Placed Into Effect by the Operations Manager, (Preparation of These Preventive Maintenance Programs Shall Be the Responsibility of the Operations Manager). The Contractor Shall Co-ordinate His Work Activities With Those of Any Other Trade That May Be Working in the School to Prevent Any Interference and Slow- Down in the Work. Digital Bonds Must Be in the Amount of 10% of the Tender Price and Must Be Submitted With the Bid. Digital Bonds Are to Be in an Electronically Verifiable/enforceable Format and All Instruction Details for Accessing Authentication Are to Be Included With the Digital Bond. For More Information on Digital Bonds, Bidders Are to Contact Their Surety Company. A Performance Bond May Be Required in the Amount of Up to Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price. The Performance Security is to Be Received Not Later Than on (1) Week After the Award of the Contract by the Letter of Intent and Prior to the Formal Execution of the Agreement. No Work is to Be Undertaken Until the Performance Bond Has Been Received. The Performance Bond Can Be Waved at the Discretion of the District. A Labour and Materials Payment Bond May Be Required in the Amount of Up to Fifty Percent (50%) of the Contract Price. The Labour and Materials Payment Bond is to Be Received Not Later Than One (1) Week After the Award of the Contract by the Letter of Intent and Prior to the Execution of the Formal Agreement. No Work is to Be Undertaken Until the Labour and Materials Security Has Been Received. The Labour and Materials Payment Bond Can Be Waived at the Discretion of the District.
