Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a pre-engineered storage facility in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,533-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a 328-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for the renovation of a 7,946-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
construction of a facility located at: 7928 45th St NE Devils Lake, North Dakota 58301 Devils Lake Bunkhouse Construction of a new 1,533 S.F. wood-framed bunkhouse addition to the existing cmu storage building. The existing 328 S.F. masonry bunkhouse structure will be demolished as well as a 7,946 S.F. complete re-roof of the existing membrane and ballasted storage building roofs. The existing exterior cmu walls will have new rigid insulation added to the exterior and finished with new metal panels. Partial or complete sets of plans and specifications may be obtained from the Architect by other than bona fide bidders. The sets or partial sets will be distributed upon receipt of payments for the information charged at the current reproduction rate. None of this payment will be refunded. Completeness and adequacy of the list of documents requested shall be the responsibility of the person making the request. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Submit bids in duplicate on the forms provided by the Architect for the following categories of construction: a. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION b. MECHANICAL & FIRE SUPPRESSION CONSTRUCTION c. ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION All bids must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the contractor's license and bid security complying with [NDCC 48-01.2-05] The Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the Bid. No Bid may be read or considered if it does not fully comply with these requirements; any deficient Bid submitted shall be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. [NDCC 48-01.2-05.5 and NDCC 48-01.2-05.6] Bidders will be required to provide a copy of the contractor's license and Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the Principal's bid is accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of award, shall execute a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and a contractor's bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the Owner. [NDCC 48-01.2-05.4] Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers and rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received in accordance with [NDCC 48-01.2-07]. All bids will be made on the basis of cash payment for such work. After bid opening the Owner will return the bid security of all except the three lowest responsible Bidders. When the Contract is awarded, the remaining unsuccessful Bidder's Bonds will be returned. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof, and further reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to hold the three low bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the Bid Opening to complete financial arrangements. [NDCC 48-01.2-05] P.
