Proposals will be received by JESCO, Inc. acting as the Construction Manager at Risk on behalf of the owner, Mobile Airport Authority. Proposals are to be provided on company letterhead and include the scope of work detailed in this Bid Package. Bid Package #5B -Terminal Steel Fabrication At Mobile International Airport Mobile, Alabama The scope of this package will include the following: Provide steel detailing and fabrication of Terminal Structure Steel Utilize the primary wide flanged members procured under Bid Package # 5A Steel Mill Order, based on the Mill Order List procured in the documents Provide all other steel fabrications required for a complete structural framing system to include but not limited to Wind Columns, Bracing, Curtainwall Support, Miscellaneous Fabrications, Edge Angles, Kickers, Framed Openings, Floor Deck, Roof Deck and Accessories Delivery and start erection April 4, 2024 Liquidated Damages for this project shall be 6% annum of original contract per Calendar Day. All prospective bidders MUST notify the CMAR of their intention to bid on the project a minimum of 72 hours before the time specified for receiving bids. Bids must be submitted on the forms included within the contract documents and specifications. Bid shall include all pages included in Division I - Bid Documents. All bid packages should include two (2) complete sets of the bid documents. Submission of the entire contract book is not required. Guarantee of Bid IS NOT required. No contract will be awarded unless the contractor holds a current and appropriate license from the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. MAA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted; to select one or more responding parties.; to avoid this RFP and the review process and/or terminate negotiations any time; to select separate responding parties for various components of the scope of services; and to select a final party/parties from among the proposals received in response to this RFP. Additionally, any and all RFP project elements, requirements and schedules are subject to change and modification. MAA also reserves the unqualified right to modify, suspend, or terminate at is sole discretion any and all aspects of this RFP process, to obtain further information from any and all responding parties, and to waive any defects as to form or content of the RFP or any responses by any party.
