Renovation of a swimming pool in Westwood, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Estimated Cost $12,000 Pool Basement Concrete Repair Questions concerning this Request for Quotes (RFQ) must be submitted in writing to: Procurement Department, Procurement@townhall.westwood.ma.us. The scope of the work includes labor, material and equipment to repair the concrete in the pool basement. Specific tasks include: o Cut and chip deteriorated concrete around leaking copper auto fill pipe. o Cut out copper pipe set and replace with schedule 80 PVC o Reconnect to auto fill spout on deck and reconnect to 2" copper fill line under pool. o Install rebar and leak master water stop o Form and pour demoed area with Sika 211 structural repair mortar. Area of repair is approximately 3'x12"x18" o Failure to complete the work included in this contract shall expose the contractor to charges. Charges will accumulate on a daily basis in addition to costs for traffic control required after the stated completion date. o If the vendor fails to supply and/or deliver in time to meet the requirements of the Town, the Town reserves the right to obtain these services from another source. Any additional costs incurred by the Town as a result of a price differential between the price paid on the open market and the contract price will be charged against the contractor or deducted from any balance owed to the contractor. o All quotes must be firm and continue in effect for a period of thirty (30) days from date of submittal.
