All bidding information is subject to change. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to commence prior to second quarter 2024. This Bid Package will consist of separate sealed Bids for the following Bid Divisions: 101: Site Excavation/Site Utilities 102: Asphalt Paving 103: Selective Demolition 104/105: Concrete footings/foundations/flatwork 106: Masonry 107: Steel 108: Carpentry & General Trades 109: Roofing 110: Metal Panels 114: Aluminum Glass/Glazing 115: Metal Studs/Drywall/Plaster/EFIS 116: Hard Tile 118: Carpet & Resilient Flooring 120: Painting 122: Signage 124: Wood Flooring 125: Metal Lockers 128: Educational Casework 131: Athletic Equipment 136: Gym Bleachers 137: Food Service Equipment 138: Elevators 140: Plumbing 141: Fire Protection 142: HVAC 143: Electrical 149: Fencing 155: Landscaping/Site Irrigation 190: Interior Arch.Woodwork/Millwork All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security, in either the form of a bid bond or certified bank check, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the Bid, payable to Novi Community School District, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the School District is secured from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid or failure of the Bidder to enter a Contract for performance, Further, the Bidder will execute the Contract, provide the required insurance certificate(s) and file the required bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract but prior to Work commencing. If awarded a contract, the successful bidder may be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Novi Community School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept a bid other than the lowest bid.
