Project Description: They purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish an agreement for the furnishing of all labor, materials, services and equipment necessary for the installation of mooring pilings, site preparation, and the unloading, unpackaging, and installation of one (1) "waterwheel" aquatic floatable trash interceptor/collector system located in the Clear Fork of the Trinity River. The engineer's estimated costs for turn-key completion of this project is approximately $614,000. The usage of a floatable barge on the Trinity River to convey the necessary equipment to the worksite for the installation of any and all mooring pilings will be required per the current permit with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
