Project Description: The City of Oak Grove is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide services to the community to develop a Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The City of Oak Grove has a strong commitment to provide fair and just access to high-quality parks, green space, recreation facilities and programs for all members of the community and this master plan will help us achieve our commitment. Specifically, the consultant will collect and analyze data to develop a clear set of goals, policies and standards for the community's park system, green space, trails, recreation facilities and program development for the next 10 years. The Project should also include individual master plans for each park. The consultant will work closely with park staff, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board in preparing the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The consultant will create a product for distribution to the public and include the following: a needs analysis, statistically valid community survey, comprehensive inventory, and implementation strategies.
